Gene is living his best life in the small Texas town of Driftwood after spending 35 years in Southern California. He and his wife Peggy have 6 kids, all grown and out of the house- all 6 with college degrees and good careers. Gene spent 6 years active duty in the Air Force then got his college degree at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. After college he worked as a salesman for window companies, then as a window installation contractor, eventually getting his General Contractor's license and Building Inspector's license. Gene has six patents for products currently being used by major builders today. Currently, semi-retired and writing fiction full-time while trying to keep up with his beautiful wife and two Boxer dogs.
